TEECAY BACKGROUND AND MISSION
Center for Juvenile Management, Inc. ( “CMJ”) is a community-based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is to empower the community with the independent use of technology and the opportunity to share resources and to increase the employ-ability skills of the population so they may better compete in the local and global economy.
TEECAY
The Technical Employment for Enterprise Community Adults and Youths Job Creation Program ( TEECAY ) is an Information Systems Service Enterprise. Its goal is to create permanent technical employment and entrepreneurial / business development infrastructure for low-income residents of the San Antonio Empowerment / Enterprise Community.
COMPUTER NETWORKING TECHNOLOGY
TEECAY offers classes in computer maintenance, networking technology, graphics, programming and web design as well as Computerized Business Applications such as Microsoft Office and Keyboarding.
TEECAY prepares motivated individuals to take and pass the compTIA A+ and Network+ Certification Exams, the Microsoft MCP and MCSE Networking Exams, and the Cisco and C++ Exams.
TEECAY offers on the job training through internship programs and job placement.
PLATO FOR REMEDIAL TRAINING
The Plato system of computerized tutorials is an effective, time saving way to overcome educational deficiencies through independent learning. It is deal for quickly bringing individuals up to par educationally.Plato customizes tests for individuals to show what they need to learn before they begin.Trainees maintain interest and move more quickly through their subjects because the material is tailored to what they need to learn.

STAFF
Our staff is composed of highly educated and experienced administrators and trainers. To optimize learning, our trainers and administrators give the personal attention that trainees need.
SERVICES AND TRAINING
The TEECAY program provides training for industry certifications and employment of participants as Desktop Technicians, Network Systems Administrators and Systems Engineers, and Database Administrators.
The TEECAY program also creates entrepreneurial vehicles for low-income participants as Systems Consultants and as Support Specialists ( computer repair, maintenance, and diagnostic service).
